In 2012, Nittayaporn Chumkong spotted a gap in Bangkok's gift market. When people wanted to send a thoughtful, premium gift basket — for a birthday, a hospital visit, a corporate thank-you — the options were limited to mass-produced supermarket hampers or overpriced hotel concierge services with no personality. She knew she could do better.
Nittayaporn started small, sourcing quality products from trusted local suppliers and assembling baskets by hand. Each arrangement was carefully curated: real ingredients, beautiful presentation, reliable delivery. Word spread quickly through personal referrals and corporate networks, and within a year the one-person operation needed more hands.
Dan Stoner joined as Creative Director, bringing professional photography, brand identity, and international creative standards from his background in cinematography and commercial production. Together, they built Basketeer into something neither could have created alone — a Thai family business with world-class presentation. The focus has never changed: craft over convenience, quality over volume, and every gift treated as if their own name were on the card.
